Subject: Original Sin - The Forum, 1981

1st all, this was a one-off band, assembled for a performance to support Bill Goffrier's Art Show at the Embarrassment practice space. Some of the songs were written for the event by the participants, along with some Bucks & Embos covers. Participants include The New Wave Brothers (Britt Rosencutter drums & vocals, Jim Rosencutter bass, Alex Erickson synth and vocals, and Court Thomas, synth and maybe vocals) and the Buckthrusters (Jim Skeel slide guitar, Greg Cowper synth, + Britt Rosencutter, and Jim Rosencutter). This show happened during the case of the missing Staci Stull. Songwriting/practice sessions were held at Skeels' studio/practice space over a couple of nights, with inspiration fueled by a fifth of Tanqueray each night. As for the recording of the event, it is "not bad". Performance quality is in the ear of the beholder.
